SWAN Business Plan Committee

The SWAN Business Plan Committee (BizCom) was established by SWAN Council in January 2010 to create a plan that allows SWAN to run independently at the time of SWAN membership’s choosing. The full original charge can be seen here: Business Plan Committee Charge (pdf). The committee produced two documents as a result of the charge; the Business Plan and the Scenario Planning, which are listed below.

Business Plan 2010

The Business Plan is a document detailing the manner in which SWAN currently conducts business (as of August 2010).

Scenario Planning

These scenarios are to be used in conjunction with the Business Plan. These scenarios are a feasibility study to assess the practicality of various configurations of locations for SWAN. The basic assumption that was used during the creation of the scenarios was that all existing services and staff would remain the same.

Committee Members

The SWAN Business Plan Committee was comprised of six self-nominated members (two from each Governance Group), as well as one representative from SWAN Council, and three MLS representatives.
